If so, you will likely become familiar with Dr. Phil Zimbardo's now classic 1971 "experiment" where he tried to simulate jail to study the effects of imprisonment on individuals.

Actor, Billy Crudup, portrays Dr. Zimbardo in the new movie, The Stanford Prison Experiment.
