American Association of Advertising Agencies This professional organization's site will help readers keep up on the issues and ideas that advertising is currently discussing. Also includes key articles from Agency magazine, a complete roster of member agencies with market capability information for each member, and information on Association lobbying in Washington.
Federal Communications Commission The FCC site provides news on current initiatives, related legislation, the FCC Daily Digest, FCC orders, fact sheets, etc.
National Telecommunications and Information Administration From: NTIA (U.S. Department of Commerce) Federal agency provides information on its activities, resources on Internet naming, the "digital divide", information and communications infrastructure, student internships, etc.
Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press This non-profit organization provides extensive resources on First Amendment and FOIA issues, news of current and recent litigation, etc. An excellent resource for answers to "How can I legally" questions. The publications especially offer a wide range of important answers, such as state telephone taping laws, etc.
Society for Technical Communication The Society for Technical Communication is the world’s largest and oldest professional association dedicated to the advancement of the field of technical communication.
Society of Professional Journalists: The Electronic Journalist Professional organization site includes news of interest to journalists, FOIA information center, awards, information, etc. Student online discussion groups, related student organization, student membership.
