Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) AHRQ "is the lead Federal agency charged with improving the safety and quality of America's health care system. AHRQ develops the knowledge, tools, and data needed to improve the health care system and help Americans, health care professionals, and policymakers make informed health decisions."
American Nurses Association (ANA) The American Nurses Association "is the premier organization representing the interests of the nation's 4 million registered nurses. ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting a safe and ethical work environment, bolstering the health and wellness of nurses, and advocating on health care issues that affect nurses and the public. ANA is at the forefront of improving the quality of health care for all."
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The CDC "is the nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health. Joint Commission The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) The "NCSBN is a not-for-profit organization whose U.S. members include the nursing regulatory bodies in the 50 states, the District of Columbia and four U.S. territories."
