The Excelsior University Library exists to support all members of the Excelsior University community. We provide research collections and services in order to connect our users with the information they need to be successful learners, teachers, and scholars. Here are a few things you should know as you use the Library:
- The Library’s staff do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice or other professional services, and nor should its information resources be interpreted as doing so.
- Access to licensed library databases and other resources is typically restricted to users who are currently affiliated with Excelsior University. Authentication via an Excelsior username and password is required to access licensed content.
- Use of library databases is intended for noncommercial, educational purposes only and should be in accordance with copyright law and Excelsior’s Student Conduct Policy.
- Your privacy matters to us. The Library follows both institutional and professional standards in regard to user confidentiality. Learn more about Excelsior’s Privacy Protection Policy and the ALA Code of Ethics.
- A growing number of open educational resources are publicly available through the library website and are generally licensed under CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0.
